so im sitting here trying to re-do just about everything in Geck, and i figure its time to get serious.

 

Plans for Better Arsenal not only include weapons, but Lots of Resource stuff that everyone can use.

 

starting with the Ammo mods, ive got several static models in the works as well as many other various supporting containers for dealing with loots (new container models, prefabs if you will, that you can stick in your new worlds)

ok, so in the past ive had a few critics were outspoken about me renaming Vanilla ammo, as it conflicts with other mods, however from the start i have felt the need to create a synergy between vanilla ammos and my ammos for the sake of my realistic take on the issue.

 

so im asking for feedback, ive just finished renaming all the "bullet" type vanilla ammos, but im unsure if they will be satisfactory to the general public

 

10mm: was a hard decision, 10mm AUTO never really caught on, however the .40 Smith & Wesson is still a semi popular round, and was thus renamed as such. BIG ? on this one as the general populace might not know that .40 is 10mm, and may critique it as not canon friendly (i myself am still on the shelf about it. 10mm is synonymous with the series)

 

.32: renamed to .32 Automatic Colt Pistol (ACP) could have used 7.65x17mm Browning SR, but the ACP is more American, and not to sound biased, but the setting is America. *shrugs*

 

5.56: renamed to 5.56x45mm NATO. kinda a given

 

.308: renamed to .308 Winchester.

 

.44 mag: renamed to .44 Remington Magnum

They sound good to me really, but imo the 10mm can stay the same mostly because some people might confuse it with the .44 round. :)

Works for me, I don't really care that much about the ammo as it is a game, but when someone in real life says "Duh, I'll just go grab Desert Eagle and shoot you in the head"

I know a few of those, I'm wondering who'll loose their heads first, them or me with my 1895 Krag-Jørgensen 6.5x55.
