Ralkahn
While WWII guns were in Fallout Tactics, it doesn't really make sense that they would still be around and working after 200 years including going through a nuclear war. They went through only WWII and are hard enough to find today in our real world. The wooden bodies ones especially would have all deteriorated. Stamped metal ones rusted through. That depends on the gun. There are more than a handful of paramilitary and insurgent forces scattered around still using WWII firearms. Having said that, it may have little to no bearing on the DC area, of course. For that matter, this information is obviously only based on modern day, not in another 200 years. So the deterioration issue you raise still stands. Just disputing the hard enough to find today part.
madcaddie
M1 Carbines are also still used by some police departments, you also are ignoring that there is without doubt stocks of these weapons (among others) still in storage in the states that would survive any nuclear bombardmant. vashts1985
as the current modding stands (unfortunately) no fixed mag bolt actions are possible. it seems that bethsoft may have really hosed custom animating and it may not be possible at all to ad new animations without overwriting vanilla. stuff like the tommy gun, m3a1, and BAR could be possible though
Wreckless1
I'd like to add that the age of the weapons at the time of the war in 2077 could be largely considered irrelevant, so long as the guns were made in large quantities, and thus could be expected to still be lingering (and in excellent/perfect condition) in mothballed armories and collector's safes. How long a weapon lasts has entirely to do with how it was stored and maintained, and guns will be all be precious after the bombs drop and as such, one could expect them to be cared for by people depending on them in the post-apoc world. But as much as I like many of the German guns of WW2, most of the guns people are in love with like the Stg-44, FG-42, Volkssturm, G43's etc were only made in small (or very small) numbers towards the end of the war, and as such they are *EXTREMELY* rare outside of a museum, especially on this continent. Whereas guns like M3A1's, Thompsons, Garands, K98's, etc were made in HUGE quantities, and kept in huge quantities long after WW2, so finding them in the wasteland should be relatively common. TheMOHAAMaster
Well people who want to keep the era of the post apocalyptic DC in 2077 don't have to download the guns. These are for people who don't really care if they have a gun not from the age. So please stop posting about its irrelevance in the game.
