BunnySnatcher
I'm having a little trouble with the installation I followed the instructions but every time when I start my save oblivion crashes... all the SAFE esps. are enabled along with the esm.I have the resource pack in my data folder and is installed correctly... At first it crashed before the oblivion menu but now it crashes upon a loaded save. I have no knowledge of any conflicts, bugs, glitches, etc. But any ideas of what might possibly be wrong? Khet
Have you tried starting a fresh game with the mod installed? I don't use CUO but maybe something's up with it? If you can load a fresh game, save it and still load it then you -could- use the console to edit your characters stats/skills to be the same as your old. Lalwende
It looks like you're missing something... Do you have Shivering Isles and the newest patch 1.2.0416? Could you also post your load order? If you use some programs like OBMM you should have an option to Export load order. Then you can choose all (Ctrl+A) and Copy it (Ctrl+C). For pasting it you should use New Reply option, then Insert Special Item --> CODEBOX. A box should pop up. Paste your load order inside the box (Ctrl+V) and click OK. BunnySnatcher
Nope only 1 esm. and the new start works... but, whenever I am asked to stand by the window it won't go to the cut scene. I have the custom race fix... But that only affects valen dreth. So I'm still stuck for the time being. :(Oh, and I do have the latest patches for oblivion, SI, KOTN, and whatever else there is. :P EDIT: I'll post my load order soon. I wouldn't necessarily blame them for the problem, but I do think it would be a big step in the right direction to put oblivion.esm first of all, before all other mods. You have cats and rats loading two times, I'm not sure about those two mods, but that strikes me as a possible problem and just a lot of little things like that, so it would be good to use a load order tool. someone knows it, it was just revamped, I'm sorry I'm pretty sick, have a headache, and have stopped making sense, but trust me, start with straightening out your load order with the tools available for that. That may not fully resolve it, but it will help to narrow down the troubles.
dezdimona
General Load-Order Guidelines Here are the guidelines that I adhere to, personally. ~ Unofficial Oblivon Patch should always be first on the list. The fixes are great, but most aren't essential, so if a mod overwrites them its not a big deal, and the fixes have the potential for screwing up other mods if loaded later. ~ Offical Content (DLC's) should be loaded last, until you complete all quests associated with them (that includes buying all furniture for the houses and whatnot). Once they're complete, they can be safely moved up in the list. This is especially important for Knights of the Nine, which will have some fairly major problems unless loaded last (unless you get the UOP for KotN) ~ Major overhaul mods (OOO, Frans, MMM) should be loaded near the end. That gives you the most complete experience with any of those particular mods. It also lets you carefully choose which other mods to load afterwards... only move mods that you know will conflict and that you want the changes from. For example, I have Improved Soul Gems below OOO because I know that OOO changes the icons of some of the SG's, and ISG needs to be below to show through. Some people will recommend putting larger mods first, but personally I disagree. There are a number of mods out there that make minor tweaks, and loading after a large mod will end up completely overwriting a chunk from one of the bigger mods because of the way conflicts work in Oblivion (even one minor change will take precedence over the entire record... for example, simply tweaking the speed of a weapon can cause every stat of that weapon to be retained to vanilla levels if loaded later). So basically, it stacks up like this... Oblivion.esmUnofficial Oblivion Patch<Minor Mods / DLC's (Post-Completion)><Major Overhaul Mod/Mods><Mods that specifically conflict with overhauls and need to take precedence><DLC's (Pre-Completion)> Expanded Load-Order Guidelinesby dev_akm I would extend this to include: Oblivion.esmUnofficial Oblivion Patch<Weather/Environment/Sound Mods><Minor Mods/New Items/Houses/DLC's (Post-Completion)><Major Overhaul Mods><Mods that specifically conflict with overhauls and need to take precedence><DLC's (Pre-Completion)><Quests><Compatibility Patches/UOMP/Merged Leveled Lists> And a special-case warning for Knights.esp (Knights of the Nine) -- you may not be able to move it earlier than some other mods (some people have had problems after moving it before OOO, for example). That's basically the structure I use and I have 140+ mods working well together. Another way of describing this (posted by DMan77):....Oblivionunoffical patchDeeper realism mods that add sights and soundsadded content like weapons/itemsgameplay changes, like 'must eat and sleep'The OOO typethe 'new begining' type mod..... PurpleGandalf
You say that you have all the SAFE .esp files activated, these would be CUO_FughtersGuildContracts_SAFE.espCUO_NewFactionDialog_SAFE.espCUO_MerchantUpdate_SAFE.esp Yet i do not see any CUO files in your load order exept the .esm file.Where are the other .esp's loading? Again I should remember If you have such minor mods you want their features above the overhaul ones. If you place them before their big brothers they will vanish completely most of cases, so why bother installing them at all?assuming they conflict of course, else wouldn't even matter the load order among the two.
