Humans don't want peace. We LIVE for conflict. We THRIVE on conflict. If there is no conflict, one will be invented. There will never be peace.

Every horrible thing done has been for peace or the frustration of not having it.

 

Or for wanting something that someone else has......

 

 

That would be wanting a "Piece of the Pie" :laugh:

 

 

Dare I follow up with a rhyme. Which assures us all there is a conflict we all may be familiar with. My first introduction to conflict.

 

Simple Simon met a pieman

Going to the fair;

Says Simple Simon to the pieman,

"Let me taste your ware."

Says the pieman to Simple Simon,

"Show me first your penny."

Says Simple Simon to the pieman,

"Indeed, I have not any."

Simple Simon went a-fishing

For to catch a whale;

All the water he had got

Was in his mother's pail.
