MDH Weaponeer
One word... or name, in this matter: Vivec. Give him a... call... he will give it to you.
cmac
Hahaha- It takes quite a bit more than that to get the Wraithguard. You must be Hortator of all three Great Houses and War leader of all three Ashlander tribes. You mus also have talked to Tholer Sayroni to get permission to see Lord Vivec. batesmotel34
Does anyone know if the script for Vivec explicitly requires being the Hortator and Nevarine for all the relevant factions, or does it only check for the approval resulting from the visit with Saronyi? Marxist ßastard
The latter, of course... And... Heh... You should recognize the very subtle difference between dialog and scripting.
Dagger of Symachus
WARNING! EXTREME SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!!!!! Just with Saryoni. Let me check exactly what you have to do in order to meet Vivec: 1. You can comeplete all of the Hortator and Nerevarine by all the Ashlander tribes. 2. If you have done the Moon and Star quest by the Ashlanders (about half way through the mainquest), have a reputation of atleast 50, and are atleast level 20 then you can talk to Tholer Saryoni. If you want it to seem more like a quest (this may be essential) you can talk to any of the following people and thye will prompt you to comeplete the Nerevarine Prophecy and meet Tholer Saryoni. They are: 1.Athyn Sarethi2.Crassius Curio3.Divayth Fyr4.Nibani Maesa5.Mehra Milo6.Master Gilvos Barelo 3. You can also take the *ahem* insane way if you play at a low level (this way is meant more for vampires). You can kill Vivec (level 100 God, 3000 hp, good luck as his spells pack 200-300 damage per hit). Then you can take the Unique Dwemer Artifact from his body and take it to Bargarn. In order for him to help, you have: 1.Reputation of 20 and Bargan's Disposition at 902.Reputation of 30 (no Disposition needed)3.The items "Dagoth Ur's Plans" and "The Plan to Defeat Dagoth Ur" in your inventory (this are found behind Vivec once you kill him) Now that you have Bargan's help you have to get Kagrenac's Planbook (found in the Dwemer Citadel Tureynulal) and Lagremac's Journal (found in the Dwemer Fortress Endusal). Once you have those two items in your inventory you can talk to Bargan with the Unique Dwemer Artifact and he will turn it into the Wraithguard. It will permanately drain your health by 201-225 points, and fortification potions don't work. Also the script is bad for the Unique Dwemer Artifact, so you can get the Wraithguard the normal way from the mainquest and then kill Vivec and get the one from Bargan (the mainquest one is right handed, the Bargan one is left handed and has the look of a left Daedric Gauntlet, so don't be alarmed). Evien
Or the illegal way- break in, kill Vivic take the wraithgard. It's not over though, go back to Yagrum Bagarn (corprus infectd guy in Tel Fyr). To get him to help you you need a reputation of 20 and a 90 dispostition on Bagarn. Or a reputation of 30 with no dispostion requirments. That or the documents "Dagoth Ur's Plans" and "The Plan to Defeat Dagoth Ur" taken from the podium on the south side of Vivic's chamber, I haven't done that route in a while. Then you need the books Kagrenac's Planbook and Kagrenac's Journals. Kagrenac's Planbook is found in Kagrenac's Library in the Red Mountain citadel Tureynulal, the Journals are in Kagrenac's study in the citadel Endusal. Bagarn will help you but the first time you use it it will backfire (I've tried it a ton of times it always does) and do between 225 and 201 damage then you'll be fine. It takes longer to do this but if you want a new twist in the plot for veteren players. Just if Dagger's wasn't clear (it really wasn't for me). I know it's hard to avoid, but don't post just for the post count +1.
Evien
I realized I didn't type the "not clear" part so I edited it. Sorry about that.
