horouboi
ok, starting a new playthrough and i want some mod recommendations for a few things... trying to remember a few mods i seen on youtube but i just can't remember there names or who reviewed them, one made it so power armor was more rare, like you found parts instead of full exosuits and the other made loot in general more rare... geala
For power armor I use "Some Assembly Required" https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12050. It deals with a lot of the overabundance of PA problems. Not with all, first thing I do after entering Far Harbor island is disabling the beverage related PAs standing around there, even with fusion cores attached (terrible). For loot there are several mods, look into Nexus. I use a combination of "Fallout Loot Overhaul 2016 Edition" https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1486 with the 2017 DLC patches and "Damn Apocalypse" https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/33812. FLO has often the harsher loot rules, so I use most of it's leveled lists (some changed by me to even less loot/vendor stuff), but Damn Apocalypse has a better harvest system and a very well made lockpick mechanic, and it's lists allow to play a bit better with automatic guns in my opinion. Heyas horouboi.Ok, so from the sounds of it, you're looking for mods that make it more challenging, or more difficult?Just asking, because there is such a seriously wide range of mods that we could recommend just about anything. I guess I'm asking what kind of gameplay that you're looking for.
alicethered
ok, starting a new playthrough and i want some mod recommendations for a few things... trying to remember a few mods i seen on youtube but i just can't remember there names or who reviewed them, one made it so power armor was more rare, like you found parts instead of full exosuits and the other made loot in general more rare... Heyas horouboi.Ok, so from the sounds of it, you're looking for mods that make it more challenging, or more difficult?Just asking, because there is such a seriously wide range of mods that we could recommend just about anything. I guess I'm asking what kind of gameplay that you're looking for. I agree with storm wolf.... If you want it more challenging there are mods that make settlements into conquering settlements... there are mods that add nucular winters... there are mods that add backpacks for sleeping out anywhere.......On the other hand if you want to build settlements instead and treat the game like a sim city you instead need mods that get you more materials , better armor for your settlers, better looking settlement and stuff you want to build like ultra realistic or maybe old castle type.... It all depends on your tastes. There is definately a mod for everything.... I'll recomend https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15842Finish the quest first then turn off the controls that turn bodies into resources as nessary. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/37988Havent used it but it definately makes your game harder. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/37000You should check out every mod for sim settlements at least once .... this on is called sim settlements conquerer. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/35513This one lets you do a bit of a villainous playthrough instead of the hero. As far as "Power armor more rare" I find that its a useless mod.... If you want power armor to be rare just dont use power armor...I personally find power armor a bit ugly and dont use it at all...That being said I find it prudent to try to steal power armor from raiders by using stealth boys and sneaking up behind them and stealing the fusion core every chance i get. Especially since they are usually armed with FATboys. As far as immersion goes what I do is I find something that is unemersive in the game and find a mod that fixes that. And that's how I chose immersion mods. For instances... Heres what i think of grass...If there was ANY grass then its still living...Your not gonna have a single strand of 'Dead' grass after 200 years. For that matter look at chinoble.... lots of radiation but everything is still green. Now I believe there should be a mix of dead stuff and live stuff but not all dead stuff. Edited January 15, 2020 by alicethered

Deleted48339873User
Hello from Greece. Some companions have great armors, very good, if someone play fallout 4 with a female character / Laura --- and Jasmine extra 1000 armor / Passion Also if you use Fusion city mod, you can meet Peter at Railroad / Old north church, and he can give you a ring, add extra 800 at armor and after you use it you can jump like you have a jetpack Yes, there are some good mods about armor, but nothing so good like those mods above
StormWolf01
A mod that HeyYou has been talking about a lot is NPC pack attack, which adds groups of more coordinated enemies. Essentially, smarter group fighters that use better tactics in combat.https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/30140 NPCs travel is also another good one. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16987Mods that allow the enemies to respawn faster is also another good idea to have, this is just one example. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/504Now this last one, I want to explain just a tad bit. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9963 This one at first glance looks like it's just another beautification project. But, it also adds 84 more targets to line up in your sights Errrrr... I mean, 84 more enemies to fight.
Deleted48339873User
At fusion city mod you can meet Peter at Railroad - Old north church and you can have -after recruit and trade with him- a ring add 800 extra at armor and the character can jump like using a jetpack if you use a female character you can download companion mods / Laura and Jasmine / Passion, so you can craft with Jasmine a extra 1000 armor and with Passion, some other good armor stuff and you can upgrade all some time. You can start for build things, use the Snappy housekit and the snappy dlc version. This mod is updated and have really good stuff. Try also Capital Wasteland workshop. There are so many mods. i don't have the plugin file, because my old PC is broken. Remember to use almost 230 mods, because after that, Fallout 4 is going and keep going to crash. Check the bug section of a mod page and also the posts. if you try a mod and don't know what other mod needs that, the mod manager is going to tell you, so you don't have to worry. Start with the unlimited companions mod and the unofficial patch for Fallout 4. i hope i help
