Fallout for 360, moddable?

As far as I know, the Xbox version of Fallout 3 isn't modable. Now, if I am wrong please correct me. If I am, where and how do you get the mods?

I was given a 360 for my 26th birthday a couple of days ago, so I bought fallout3 to play on it, even though I already have a high end PC, I should've probably bought it for that, I know.

Now I am thinking about the 100+ mods I have on Oblivion and am suffering from a bit of 'buyers remorse' towards the Xbox version of Fallout 3. I want mods, all the cool stuff that I know our local modders are working on at this moment, so if there is any way to get them for the 360 version, please let me know.

Unfortunately, besides eventual official content, there are no mods available for the Xbox 360. People worked a lot on figuring out how to do it for Oblivion, and eventually concluded that even if you had a modded Xbox, you still needed the Microsoft controlled information to convert a mod into something that would be compatible with Oblivion. I imagine that Fallout 3 is likely similar.

The reply is correct. Even if you could "copy" a mod to the XBOX, it required format is different and would not work.

Two years later and this is the current standing:

- Thousands of mods for PC Oblivion.

- Zero mods for XBOX Oblivion.

Since Fallout 3 is basically the same gaming engine, you can expect similar results which is ZERO user mods on the XBOX (hacked or not)

The PC version ain't so bad. I have an ancient 6-year-old PC and it still runs it OK...although on the lowest settings but is still very fun.

Good to see you too.
