Race Menu or Enhanced Character Edit?

I have both Enhanced Character Edit and Race Menu Installed. Do some mods require on one of them or can u use the one you like. If its the later option, which one is better. I have Nymph Girls installed. It shows both under requirements.

Having them both installed will lead to problems because they're largely incompatible. Use RaceMenu as main character edit.

When u say main character edit, do u mean uninstall ECE or have it disabled?

Both mods are there to edit the character you build at the start of the game with the game's Character Builder. Both mods add features to that Character Builder in the form of sliders and/or presets that change the way your character looks. That's why you cannot use both mods at the same time because they do more or less the same thing and would fight against one-another or even crash the game.

 

And when I say "use RaceMenu as main character edit", that should be self-explanatory, except maybe when you're completely new to all of this, so, I'm sorry if it wasn't too clear to you. RaceMenu is more stable, has the better features and has more support from other mods, so, use that one instead of ECE. ECE is rather glitchy and has a lot of sliders that are present but don't work as they should.

 

By the way, you can change your character's looks at any time in the game by opening the console (hit 'tilde', aka the key to the left of the '1' key) and type showracemenu. It will open the Character Builder.
