LE Is it possible to add light sources to weapons and armor?

Not sure is this is the correct forum to post in for this, sorry if it's not.

 

As the title says, is it possible to make equipable items such as weapons and armor into light sources through the creation kit? Specifically I wan't to add a light source to the Dawnbreaker sword as i think it would be quite a nice looking and functional addition. I've had a brief play on the CK but not found much success, also google's not turned much up in the way of tutorials.

 

Can anyone help?

It must be possible. This mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/11956 adds Gandalf's staff to the game. It is used as a torch and for blocking.

So sad this question is so old as it is the very thing I was looking / hoping for.

A mod which allows the player to add a light source to their weapon, shield or other most used armor piece such a s chest piece.

 

In my case to one or both my dual daggers and surely my bow. Reason being, I am so very sick of having to adjust the brightness

of the game when I enter and exit a dungeon. Despite the lighting mods RLO and ELFX my dugeons are so

very dark! I'm all for spooky, but straining my eyes to see is painful. I use IMAGINATOR too, but no joy with the lighting issues.

 

I was hoping to find a mod that adds a new enchantment such as "Magelight" or "Candlelight" a player could enchant onto their armor or weapon.

RLO makes them darker.

Abandoned RLO some time ago, using ELFX, but it doesn't matter; I have this dark dungeon issue with or without any lighting mod :pinch:

Why not just use candle light spell?

You can try some enbs, some make them really bright.

No but that would be awesome! My dream is a paladin type armor that adds a power that makes 2 candlelight orbs appear on his pauldrons. So I can have light and use a 2 handed weapon.

I'm sure there is a way to make a really bright weapon or armor lol.

There is enchantment mod that add jewelry that when worn, cast candle light.

Or an invisible candlelight that still gives off light.
