b0bulat0r
Hi I'm playing through the depravity modI noticed both Fallons and the New hotel rexford have plenty of lights on the walls but they are all off for me, wiring power near them in the workshop mode doesn't seem to turn them on either, (upper floors of fallons were fine just the lower ones) I have to run around with my headlamp on to see anything inside the rexford because it is so dark, Is there something obvious I've missed or is there a way to fix this? Had a look on the FAQ for the mod but couldn't find anything related to this. Thanks
StormWolf01
Heyas B0bulat0r! I can't say this for certain, as I haven't downloaded, or played the mod. However, reading over the FAQ for the mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/articles/1616it appears that the cells have daytime and nighttime modes, which means that it's darker at night than it is during the day. o_OSo it being so dark may be a combination of that, and any other mods that you have that affect lighting, or the level of darkeness, or may be not agreeing well with an ENB or LUT. I hope this helps some. It sucks trying to stumble around in the dark.Don't stub a toe! ;)-Storm
b0bulat0r
Hi StormYea i'm aware of the day/night cycle, but what I'm talking about is the lights on the walls not producing any light(like I can see physical lights on the wall) but they aren't on, so it's not just dim or dull it's pitch black,

StormWolf01
Heyas b0bulator! Ok, so again, I don't have the mod. But I've hunted around on the internet, and I can't find anything at all about the lights in that mod. :(I've looked at some of the videos, and some of the screenshots, and I notice that there is a switchbox right there by the workstation, to the left of it, on the wall.I've downloaded and used a couple of custom house mods, where the lights are turned off by default. Maybe, it's something as simple as having to throw the switch to turn them on, once you've got them powered? Again, I am really sorry, I'm afraid I don't have the mod, to test it out. It, and it's pre-requisite mod are both pretty decent in download size.Ah, that brings up another thought. I'm guessing that you do have the mod that it requires, installed and active, yeah? b0bulat0r
Thank you for taking the time to respond,I went back to double check, hoping it was that i was just being stupid, the switchbox is there as you say it says in brackets "do not touch" it's on by default. I toggled it off and on just encase but it made no difference. yea I have the pre-req mod as well, game won't launch with depravity installed if you dont have it's outcasts dependency installed.thanks for looking into it though, Maybe i should re-install it encase that would fix it? StormWolf01
Heyas B0b! Yeah, no problem. I just wish that I had something for you that helped. LOL Yeah, when all else fails, reinstall. So I'm curious tho. Do you have to complete anything before it will let you use the workshop there? Or does it just give it to you?If, once you have the workshop, can you install any other lights that work?Does anything else electrical work?Does it have a generator that needs a fusion core?have you tried using an add-in generator? I'm rattling off ideas now, trying to help out, cuz I've got nuthin' on the actual mod itself :(
b0bulat0r
You get it at the end of a questline, basically it changes the door so it links to a brand new cell "new rexford hotel" until you complete the quest it points to the old cell (vanilla rexford hotel) once you've completed the quest you get access to the workshop to alter things, if you place other lights from the workshop mode they are invisible (even the fixture) the first time you place them then if you load out of the cell and load back in again they work,it just looks weird having lights that are working next to lights that aren't :P I've reinstalled the mod and unfortunately even after doing this, only the lights placed in workshop mode manually are working,
