JimboUK
The problem with Photobucket is once you go over your bandwidth limit for the month all your images vanish until the start of the next month, that could be a problem if your page gets a lot of views. Lanceor
You can use the imageshare to host the images, that way they won't go missing like they do on some sites. Set them as hidden so you don't clutter up the imageshare, you can still embed images when they're hidden. I never knew that... thanks for the tip! If I somehow do, I'll find a more reliable host then. I've run into another issue though. I embedded a few images in my latest upload but the images are so large they don't fit the post properly and end up looking terrible. Is there any way i can shrink them down a bit via BBCode or will I have to crop them myself and upload smaller images?
JimboUK
You'll have to resize them, I've found 900 wide doesn't break everything. I use this for resizing and basic stuff, it's free and doesn't have any unwanted garbage. The upside of the resizing is you use less bandwidth as do those looking at them. UrgeNexus
Right, new issue. I opened up Photoshop and resized all the images to 594px wide, the perfect size to make it all align properly and look nice. here's the issue. I deleted everything I had uploaded to photobucket previously and then uploaded the new, smaller, versions. But when i copy the codes and insert them into the post, the images are just as large as theyw ere to begin with. Either photoshop or the Nexus refuses to register than the images are not supposed to be that big. What's going on? I am really confused about this. JimboUK
That's very strange, I wonder if your browser or even ISP is caching that page, do you have link to the page?
UrgeNexus
That's very strange, I wonder if your browser or even ISP is caching that page, do you have link to the page? The Photobucket page? Yeah, though I'm not sure anyone other than me would be able to access it as I need to log in to get to it. EDIT: It works now, I don't know why but I'm guessing you were right. Anyway, the images now show as the proper size so it seems the problem is solved. Thank you for taking the time to help.
