UlrikS
When i was there i think it just stood Enclave Officer when i looked at him. If not - the Enclave sure as hell has more than one Colonel.
Mr MMMM
I have another question to go along with this - is there any way to get at colonal autumn in the enclave base, before the last mq? I'm interested in that 75 damage laser pistol
noobax
Ok maybe autumn isnt as bad as the enclave but he is still bad! Are ya all blind??? He shot one of the scientists when dad already told autumn that the purifier wouldnt work becuz of the GECK which is TRUE do you honestly think a bad guy would do that? A good guy would already have asked how he could help instead of just blamming that poor scientist
evilbeefjerky
Autumn is an evil ass, but that's due to BAD WRITING.Autumn really has no reason to be so trigger happy against unarmed scientists and restrained prisoners. He just does it because he's The Bad Guy even though he's against genocide and wants to provide clean water to the people in order to rebuild the government. It makes no sense, all because Bethesda were too lazy to present a "grey" antagonist who might appeal to moral players more than the Brotherhood. Which is ironic considering that the Brotherhood were always meant to be the knights in shining armor that weren't.As in, in Fallout 1 they were asses who sent new recruits off to die in The Glow. In Fallout 2 they were on their knees due to their hubris. But of course in Fallout 3 they're The Good Guys so we totally have to follow them. And don't even get me started on Autumn's "rebellion" against the President. Eden: I want to kill everybody, Autumn doesn't want to and so he's rebelled. He's no longer loyal to me, has turned his men against me and left to make his stand at Project Purity.Autumn: I AM TOTALLY LOYAL TO THE PRESIDENT! You can never convince me to betray the rightful commander-in-chief I've already betrayed.Me: .... huh?
Tagaziel
Just because Autumn is against what the Enclave is doing, doesn't make the Enclave good. It makes him a traitor to his own people. Which I say still makes him a %&$!, even if you ignore his brutal methods of accomplishing his goals. .. Autumn is the LEADER of the Enclave. He defines what the Enclave is, and it sems the soldiers don't mind. When i was there i think it just stood Enclave Officer when i looked at him. If not - the Enclave sure as hell has more than one Colonel. Nope. Autumn's the highest ranking soldier after the death of his father. Ok maybe autumn isnt as bad as the enclave but he is still bad! A good guy would already have asked how he could help instead of just blamming that poor scientist Sorry, I shed the primitive black/white perception of the world long ago. The Enclave is the best chance the world has at rebuilding itself, as it seems nothing like the NCR has emerged.
evilbeefjerky
NCR? Hell, nothing like The Hub has emerged. Wait, strike that. The Capital Wasteland is barely on Junktown's level. And after 200 years that's really sad.
Tagaziel
It feels as if for three years the game's been developed as a prequel set in 2097, with some idiot randomly stepping in during the fourth year and demanding that the date be set to 2277 so that all those kewl factiunz from Fallout 1 and 2 could be used. Which is pretty sad if true since they could still use the Enclave (if they really *had* to, which they didn't) saying that small Enclave outposts were seeded across America, the Ghouls and perhaps a variety of super mutant. The only faction that wouldn't be possible is the BoS, which frankly are superfluous. You could replace the BoS with "Generic Power Armor Using Faction That Hid Under The Pentagon" and get the exact same plot.
Tagaziel
Something like the Guardians of the Old Order in Wasteland. Or a division of power armor troops that was deployed to DC to quell food riots.

In any case, he isn't the leader of the whole Enclave. He was the de facto leader of the remaining Enclave forces that relocated to the east coast. The Enclave was around even before the war. Eden was still the one in actual command until it tried to get the FEV into the water, which in turn caused Autumn to rebel. Autumn is still a heartless male without a father, and will kill without remorse to accomplish his long term goals. I don't care how good the ends are, it does not always justify the means.
