If you look at the "Processor" line for both devices you will see the first ("Platform Role Mobile") one has:

Processor AMD Ryzen 7 3750H with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx, 2300 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)

and the "with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx" indicates an embedded graphics chip, while the second (Platform Role Desktop) has:

Processor AMD Ryzen 5 1600X Six-Core Processor, 3600 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s)

. The lack of embedded graphics data indicates to me you have a separate video card, which is not listed. You can get that information as described here.

However, I did just discover an article on How to increase dedicated Video RAM in Windows 10 out of system memory. Note that this is not something I have personally tested, so no guarantees. (If you go the "registry hack" route, recommend you use scripts and have one that restores the original setting as well as one to implement your new one. Use caution, as hacking the registry badly can leave you with a "brick of a computer" that won't boot up. Not recommended for ordinary users, but it would enable relative flexibility in allocation.)

-Dubious-

well at least my save file isnt bricked!...now if only the steam cloud would sync correctly...thankfully destop data isnt far behind...but i have to do all of freesides quests again

Are you sure steam saves are not still on your comp ? Search for " .fos " hidden folders also.

Then you could just copy / transfer it some how / paste back in the desk top same spot.

A curious question , are you playing with it beyond the default Fov = 75 ?

What about the uGridsToLoad = 5 default ?

To be clear ... I am not telling you to adjust those settings no matter what you have right now.

Just a question to see where we are starting from. Because I think if you go adjusting things to much and/or certain things ... may bork your save file.

How about trying a console save first ... just bring up the console and type "SaveGame MyTest"

And from there see if you can find that save without Steam.

Because transferring the save to your other rig , is going to help diagnose what is going on imo anyway ?
