HeyYou
So remove all that content from the data folder. Are you running any mods that list any CC content as requirements?
markusm1000
stuff still crashes in main menu.So have a look at F4SE, Custum Menu Mods, Start Screen Replacers and videos, ENB related stuff etc.Things that change the basegame and often come with their own .dll, not only the database like .esp. Check for updates, perhaps they don't work with the actually gameversion.

And I never had. Not sure what that's supposed to mean. In the Data folder there are .. well, all the mods I have. Removing everything from it is like chopping the head off when you have a headache.   stuff still crashes in main menu.So have a look at F4SE, Custum Menu Mods, Start Screen Replacers and videos, ENB related stuff etc.Things that change the basegame and often come with their own .dll, not only the database like .esp. If some mod is not up to date that will be seen in its EXE footprint and F4SE will alert about it (and skip loading the DLL).  EDIT: The question whether or not I use mods that rely on CC content is a good one. If I knew how to check that without going one by one in F4Edit and trying to find CC FormIDs .. I would've done that already. If someone knows the trick on how to check it easily - please tell me how. Though the fact that I didn't update mods and it broke doesn't help here .. and it broke on a "frozen" game version (because when it all started I was on 1.10.162 so it could not be some silent Beth update) Edited February 4, 2020 by Dellecross
HeyYou
No, just nuke all the CC content that gets loaded in there by default. :D

HeyYou
Check your data folder, anything starting with cc_ is going to be creation club content. Likely just a bunch of bsa files, one would hope. According to theory, without a corresponding esp/esl file, those assets shouldn't load...... Shouldn't. :)

Shouldn't. :smile:Yes, they are just ba2 files and as such can not be harmful in any way (as there is nothing to load them). So of course removing those did not change anything. Well, at least now I know that I had a bunch of useless ba2 files from CC in my data folder. Edited February 6, 2020 by Dellecross
HeyYou
Looking at your papyrus logs, something is trying to load the CC content..... which strikes me as rather odd....... My logs have maybe six lines in them, the last line being "Log Closed"...... And I know I played for longer than the timestamps would indicate.
