Jump to Comment Doesn't Work

When clicking on a notification that informs me that someone replied to my comment, it's supposed to jump to my comment (the URL will have something like "jump_to_comment=xxxxxxxx" at the end) yet this doesn't work. It means I have to find my comment manually every time, which can be nearly impossible or at least very tedious if the reply happened a while ago.

What I have tried:

  • Reloading the page
  • Incognito mode
  • Another browser
  • Another system

None of those worked.

Heyas Aaron. Ok, so while I dunno about the problem that you've described. In the meantime tho, most browsers support a search function. Press the CTRL key on your keyboard and tap the F key. Somewhere on your screen (usually along the bottom) you will get a search box. Type in your screen name in the search box, then tap your ENTER key. That will start showing you results of your search parameters there on the page. If it doesn't come up with results on that page, then none of your posts are on the page, and you'll need to go to a previous or later page and repeat the search.

I know that isn't a fix for your problem, but will take some of the tedium out of trying to find the post that was replied to.

Something that I have noticed is that it does work on the first page of the comments, but if my comment or if the parent comment that I replied to has been pushed past the first page, it will not jump to the comment.

@StormWolf01, that doesn't actually search past the first page, so it's not too useful for me.

@Pickysaurus, I have tried refreshing the page after it loaded with no effect.
