Less spread from explosions?

I have played this game for exactly 4.044 hours when I write this.

And now I am getting really annoyed about the explosions triggering every time you are about to loot after a fight. I've noticed the game tries to slow you down by spreading the bodies of enemies in all directions (and I have a suspicion that the spread is getting heavier along with your level progression as well) by letting something explode (no matter what as long as it spreads the bodies).

I am sick and tired of running around for loot every time I killed enemies. You can use hours on looking for the bodies. And sometimes you never find them anyway because they are thrown into some inaccessible graphics out of visible sight.

I looked through the mods but was only able to find some that prevents your own body from exploding in multiple parts.
I also found one who supposedly should prevent NPC's to dismember. This makes it a bit easier to locate the bodies after all, but still.

You can't do anything about Brotherhood Knights landing on top of buildings. That's just how it is. But running around in an area in search of 10 different bodies having to give up on the last two after 10 minutes really annoys me now.

Isn't there a way to minimize the spreading of the bodies after explosions?

By explosions, are you referring to the ones from things like grenades, missiles and cars?

If so, each explosion has a Force value applied to them, which is what allows the explosion to propel things such as items and bodies. Without a Force value, the explosion would only damage, but not propel anything. Different explosions in the game have different Force values, with Mini Nukes having probably one of the highest values. The Force value can be edited in the Creation Kit and FO4Edit.

It should be noted that the Force values on explosions do not change with your level; what might be happening to you is that as you're leveling up, the type of explosives NPCs are using is changing.

Your complaint is valid. And you're not the only one who has voiced similar thoughts.

The problem has been a part of bethesda's game engine since back in Oblivion. The problem gets worse the bigger or heavier an object is, in some cases. I remember a dragon in a castle, that could get thrown completely OUT of the castle, when it died.
