Not a good idea. Has never been achieved, and the means to do so would be enormous, surpassing the capabilities of anyone alive today. Even if you were to somehow succeed, you wouldn't stay on your throne for very long. Good luck holding it all together and staving off a pissed off world, lol. :ohdear:

 

Problem is, Keanumoreira, too many people seem keen to be led around by the nose, seem to not want to make decisions but let somebody else take the responsibility for doing so. Also too many people seem to believe that some great 'hero' will come along to save them from what ever it is that they need saving from even if the 'hero' is actually more than of a 'villain' in reality.

 

My next plan to take over is to get together a truly massive public relations, advertising campaign using all available media and convince people to let me be leader of the world. Trouble is I have no money so I must start saving up from this moment on. Hopefully I will have a couple of billion dollars to spend by the end of this month. Now, where did I put that piggy-bank?

Yes, most people lean towards the liberal side because their guilty conscious and sense of doing "right". But everyone loves a cold-hearted conservative who will lower taxes, brutalize criminals, and rule like a king. That's why I'm plotting to take over the world - because it needs me.

 

I will bring about a world of serenity. There shall be no money; all shall eat and drink on my score; and I will apparel them all in one livery, that they may agree like brothers, and worship me their lord.

My scissors plan fell through... The costs of the scissors was bad enough but getting the copyright permission for a kirigami design just about killed me.

My new plan involves an ACME giant slingshot, plastic containers that look like space capsules and the sun.

It's never a good idea. Never ever never no matter what forever! It's suicide and you WILL die. Can't you just settle for a kingdom the size of Rhode Island? I would. I'd be glad watching my small empire thrive on silk and honey milk. :biggrin:
