Dan3345
Proof of concept A lot of us have known for a while now that this was coming, or rumored to be coming. It's official now, and sounds great to me. The article says the tool for downloading and installing mods will be built into the game (and by default also on curse). But conceivably, couldn't we still use the nexus to showcase our soon to be minecraft mods, and point people to them? Just a thought, I love minecraft and tekkit, and I have long awaited for this to be revealed. Would love to hear the communities thoughts.
Vagrant0
The topic has been brought up several times. The definitive response has always been a solid "No". Dark0ne just has no interest in supporting Minecraft here.
Dark0ne
For one, the Minecraft community would definitely not fit in here.
Dan3345
Ha, the minecraft community isn't that bad. We have enough mature people here that I wouldn't think it's a problem. Anyways I jut thought since things have hanged and mods are actually being supported now the opinion might hve changed. I won't bring it up again
Korodic
meh, minecraft needs a good site dedicated to its mods. Though Dark0ne is right about the community minecraft has... Many admins on minecraft servers prove it everyday >.>

JanusForbeare
I'm curious about this. I've never played Minecraft, and I don't know anything about it's community. Why wouldn't it fit in on the Nexus? Please don't get me wrong, I'm not being confrontational - just ignorant and inquisitive. :)
Korodic
Personal opinion: the minecraft community is full of ignorant and rude little kids that will probably walk all over nexus rules. Those who own servers are generally elitist control freaks that get hard over a single privilege over other even virtually. Though when playing with your friends, and certain types of people online, its a good time full of creativity and adventure, which my campus internet blocks entirely. Reminds me of the steam community for Skyrim at first.

You're just joining the wrong servers. Rule 1. If the server offers admin ranks for donating, stay away. Rule 2. If the server offers too many diamonds just for voting, stay away. Rule 3. If the server has Factions, stay away, because you can bet your ass that it's full of griefers and spawn campers.
