BigBizkit
I don't think calling out supposed stereotypes is getting us anywhere @JimmyRJump (also @fore for the reply). As fore explained, your issues stem from installing Oldrim files for SSE. Vortex does warn you about that. It's up to the user to decide whether they want to install Oldrim mods on SSE. Some work, some (like animation mods) don't. As for NMM, I do think calling it an "old mod manager" is accurate, as it is based on code written for Oblivion and Fallout 3 - games which are now over a decade old. JimmyRJump
Or maybe your Deutsche Gründlichkeit gets in the way. Tschüss. Or maybe your Flemish stubbornness and quarrelsomeness? :D I'm only getting aggravated when I know I'm right and someone fails to see that. It's impossible to download SSE mods for Oldrim with NMM. Point. You can download Oldrim mods manually and then import them into NMM and install them in SSE. Now, where am I being stubborn, mein lieber? I don't think calling out supposed stereotypes is getting us anywhere @JimmyRJumpI've worked in Germany for several years and I assure you the German Thoroughness isn't a stereotype. You need to have dealt with TUV (technisches umwelt verein/technisches überwachingsverein, aka environment protection) to know what I mean. anjenthedog
The OP made a mistake. It happens. Some (very few) LE mods will work with SE. While it'd be an interesting setting if it was available ("Check for special edition flag?", or "Only install SE mods"), I'm glad Vortex allows me the choice to install either SE or LE mods, and I don't blame anyone else for installing LE mods onto my game... that is, other than myself.
