theLeeHarvey
I went through all the trouble of "You gotta shoot 'em in the head!" and the first vew quests of the main storyline just to get and use this armor. Once I got it I was like "Holy Crap! This armor rocks!" That was until I realized that you can't use parts from any other set of power armor to repair it. At least not that I've found so far. So my question is this: How and Where can I get this armor repaired? Most merchants that repair equipment can only repair things to just above 50% (I haven't invested in any traders, which one has the highest possible repair skill?) and with the T51b armor with a max DR of 50 and 2000 health, that isn't enough to bring it's condition above a 32 or 33 damage reduction. This is sad considering that Enclave armor, which can be readily repaired while scavenging has a max DR of 40. I'd much rather use the T51b but it's just not as 'economical' until I find a way to repair it to 90% or 100%. If any body knows the best way to get T51b armor repaired, please let me know. Conscripted
The traveling merchant, Crazy Wolfgang, has a super high repair ability. I'm not sure if you have to invest in his business first, though.

ComicKaze
yeah, im playing it on xbox  thanks anyways though. I plan on upgrading to the PC version once they release the SDK though. Just invest in Crazy Wolfgang the junk vendor to the maximum available. He has 75 repair skill. BTW, how do you get the "You gotta shoot 'em in the head!" quest? I've been everywhere including underworld and it's never offered to me.

He'll ask you to kill some ghoul-haters. That's the quest. Then, collect the four keys, and instead of turning them in, use them at the Fort Constantine yourself. The armor is behind the door where Tara's body lies. Be aware, that once you actually pick up the armor you cannot complete the quest. Crowley is after the suit of armor as well. Easy as pie! It's really the only good thing about him, for me anyways, besides whatever caps he has. The random junk he offers is of no use to me, given my locker filled with literally hundreds of medical braces and vacuums and toy cars and whatever else you need to make custom weapons. Gotcha44
I feel your pain. The current repair system is really unbelievably stupid. Not only do things degrade at an alarming rate, for some specific items it's impossible to repair them at all. For any of the four wandering traders having a decent repair skill you'll have to invest money in them......which brings another problem in play: They die too easily, so at some point you'll be finding your investments lying dead on some dirtroad and no one will be able to repair that one unique item you love up to ~85%. Thankfully I don't like consoles so I am enjoying this on the pc. Hourray for mods.

UnholyShadow
I heard somewhere you could repair it with the medic armor, but I would never give that up. I enjoy the companionship :P
