neonphoenix
First off, I'm sorry if this is already answered in another thread. I've been searching these forums for a while now looking for threads that might have the answer, but had no luck unfortunately. Basically, this error only happens when I try to run Morrowind with Bloodmoon's ESM active. Tribunal gives one of the errors, but seems to load fine after that. When it goes to the part of the start-up where it loads each ESP and ESM file that is active at the time, it gives multiple error messages stating something about the weather not equaling 100 percent in certain areas. If it helps, I will copy and paste what my WARNING.TXT says : Chunk size 10 too big in chunk WEAT_ID in form REGN_ID.Max size is 8, data truncated to "#".Chunk size 10 too big in chunk WEAT_ID in form REGN_ID.Max size is 8, data truncated to "".Region 'Felsaad Coast Region' Weather Chances do not total 100 percent.Chunk size 10 too big in chunk WEAT_ID in form REGN_ID.Max size is 8, data truncated to " ".Region 'Moesring Mountains Region' Weather Chances do not total 100 percent.Chunk size 10 too big in chunk WEAT_ID in form REGN_ID.Max size is 8, data truncated to " ".Region 'Isinfier Plains Region' Weather Chances do not total 100 percent.Chunk size 10 too big in chunk WEAT_ID in form REGN_ID.Max size is 8, data truncated to "(".Chunk size 10 too big in chunk WEAT_ID in form REGN_ID.Max size is 8, data truncated to "#".Chunk size 10 too big in chunk WEAT_ID in form REGN_ID.Max size is 8, data truncated to "#".Chunk size 10 too big in chunk WEAT_ID in form REGN_ID.Max size is 8, data truncated to "(".Region 'Hirstaang Forest Region' Weather Chances do not total 100 percent. So, if anyone knows how to fix this, the help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

igroff
Yeah I have the same thing happen to me. I reinstall and same thing. Hopefully 3 is the charm. I looked everywhere to try and fix it. It is funny how Microsoft hates Microsoft. Sometimes I just want to split my hard drive and put on old operating systems. RubberMan01
The (usual) reason for this error is that the expansions have been installed in the wrong order mate. MW -> Tribunal -> BM -> Patch. If you re-install like that it should work fine.
Elricas
Hi,Thought I'd add my own comment to this thread (better late than never). I have also gotten errors like this on the load screen and I only have MW's original disk, no expansion was installed. But I do have a lot of mods including a weather mod. Could be the cause. Could be the cause. If the weather mod you're using changes regional weather percentages then, chances are, it affects Bloodmoon regions too. The game will error as it can't find those regions. Post your mod list (bottom of your morrowind.ini) and the contents of your warnings.txt (same folder as morrowind.exe) if you'd like some more help.
