jjb54
Maybe you'll find something here:Compact: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/34337 Just be very careful with mods like these, as they can cause Pre-Culling ( clipping - vanishing ) parts of the game. What I would suggest is get a MOD that offers a home in GN and there are a couple of teleportation mods that would get you there. -> In other words, there is no Settlement Mod there, other than: ... Diamond City ( Homeplate )... Hangman's Alley... County Crossing... Bunker Hill... The Castle... Boston Airport.
StormWolf01
Ok there's just a couple of things that I would like to mention. JJ - there's some wording here that needs attention."Player Home"A player home in FO4 is A) A building that a player can use as a place to sleep, or to use as someplace for supplies. Does not have a workbench.B) Like HomePlate which has a workbench, but does not have full functionality of a full-on settlement. Such as being able to move companions or followers to it.SettlementA) Full functionality for everything. I couldnt find a mod that uses the wording that Bilbo used. But mods similar to that, are requiring a full blown workbench that is capable of setting up supply lines (dunno why that's a requirement) for fast travel in survival mode. Bilbo. If you're wanting this for immersion, I can understand. If you are looking for a way to fast travel while playing in Survival mode I use a mod called Holotaped Fast Travel. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22172 .Edit] One of the other benefits to this mod is that ridiculous restriction of "You cannot travel when enemies are nearby" message because theres a radroach or molerat hiding somewhere within 100 feet away that I can't see!Which will also work in survival. Tho, it's kinda cheaty as it can also FT you to places that you haven't been to before. Or I found quite a few other mods using a search of fast travel survival in the mods section. There is also Cheat Terminal which can allow you to use a holotape to "mark" locations that you are standing at. Once the location is Marked, you can then teleport back to it via the holotape. jjb54
Hey Wolf - I thought: get a MOD that offers a home in GN Would explain - Player Home in GN = Good Neighbor. But I see what you are saying. Sadly that happened last week, so I probably should not take anything for granted any more. ;) Some of the Good Neighbor Player Home Mods do offer a limited workbench - and allows you to be build a teleporter. But the fast travel mod looks good! :)
StormWolf01
Heyas JJ :) Nah, I get it bro. You were offering up an alternative solution, it's all good :)I dunno, for some reason I felt the need to specify that. Dunno. Maybe it's just an accumulation of the other threads around here where people didn't know the difference. I dunno. It's been a looooong day man!! :( If you mean the fast travel holotape... yeah, I like it a LOT. I found that while trying to find a solution for not being able to fast travel OUT of some of these crazy buildings that I couldn't find the exit from! And some of the fast travel anywhere mods don't seem to work anymore. The marking system from Cheat Terminal is really cool too. It reminds me a lot of Ultima Online, where we had rune stones that we could use a spell on called "Mark" spell. It would set the location on the rune, then we could use a "Recall" spell to teleport to the locale.Ahhhh, memory lane. The money I used to make in that game, selling copies of hard to get to runes.Erk! Off topic! Sowwy!!
Zorkaz
You could also use: Three Warehouses player homes in Goodneighborhttps://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/39412 Or some of my other Goodneighbor homes/settlements.They all are inside
