ookamithegreat
Hello, I have been troubleshooting this for some time now. I have gotten to nuka world, after dealing with a lot of crashing on the train. Long story short, I disabled mods, got to nuka world and slowly re-enabled them, and removed a mod that appeared to be causing the crashing. Awesome. As I am going, I finish the first room of the gauntlet (turret room), and begin moving on to the next, then it crashes again. I have posted the mod order and plugins below. Can someone please help me solve this, I feel like there is one offending mod, and all that is needed is for it to be removed. Also I am a novice and do not understand the jargon, please try to keep this in mind

SKKmods
You do know that the action of removing mods from a save game can cause crashes itself ? So you end up in a save game killing loop that a bad mod or conflict causes crashes, but removing the mod causes crashes. It may be that "removed a mod that appeared to be causing the crashing" is now causing the problem. Just to help with frustration if you get no better offers. Thats actually a really short list. That's one of the shortest load orders that I've seen in a while. I was looking at True Storms, and fadingsignal recommends that there is a patch for TS and Darker Nights. Do you have that? Also, what was the mod that you removed? And yeah. SKK is right on the money about removing mods during your playthrough. Sometimes, that can do more harm than good, depending on the mod.
SKKmods
LOL Maybe we should start calling this the "Modder's Butterfly Effect" ? The appropriate description is "choosing to use sh1t mods" effect because no matter how liberal ones outlook, choice has consequences. All that glitters is not infact gold. Zorkaz
Hmm curious on what you removed. Maybe there's a fix for this. (Also please don't let it be one of mine ;|)
Deleted48339873User
Use a defrag program for your hard disk Add more memory to PC or unpack the dlc textures file, so the access to file is faster - i think there is a mod about this and also must add some lines at one of the ini files (i don't know how to do this. Maybe someone else, helps)
ookamithegreat
Hello All, Sorry about the delayed response, very little time this week. But to answer a few questions1- The mod I removed was Unique Unique's2- The reason I removed that above mod is be cause I discovered that there were issues with it not hitting Nuka-World correctly (if I recall correctly) and that was the only one I was able to pinpoint causing the immediate crash on boot up.3-As for the updates and patches listed above, I will check, and go from there. Thank you for the recommendation. Now as for the logic that the removing the mod is now causing the issues. I do agree that may be part of it, and I think I can work around it. My question is why do you think it would be taking so long to manifest as an issue?
ookamithegreat
So I do appear to have the updates for TS and Darker Nights, I tried again from an older save (Unique Uniques, Ts and Darker Nights all disabled) I am still crashing on the monorail. Deleted48339873User
When you like a mod and you want to download it, always check first the bug section and read the description about conflicts. Also read the posts, about how other think for the mod. This is what i do always. if a mod need to run 2 other mods and one of the other 2 mods need a extra mod, so all of them can run, maybe one of those mods, conflict with some other mod or the author of the mod don't do good work making it and don't care if his mod, cause problems. Darker nights cause many problems. OCDecorations, delete SKE menu. Try not to use any mods, add new enemies, because the game can't handle too many people around. Sometimes, when i start a new game and use the mod, Cheat bunker (outside Vault 111) i can travel to Nuka-world, but maybe this cause a new problem: the icon to fast travel back to Commonwealth, don't show up (and if you want from there to fast travel back, using the console ~ maybe after you can't see at Commonwealth map, the Nuka-world icon for fast travel). Also this maybe cause problems with the first quest, you must survive and meet the bad Raider Boss.
