Premium Download Speeds Capped for Large Files

I'm having an issue when downloading large mods from the Skyrim Nexus, where any file under 500MB downloads at high speed (~5.7MB/s), but any file larger than that seems to be capped at ~700KB/s. I'm located in Australia, so mostly downloading from the Singapore server.

Pinging nexus shows some packet loss:

We do not cap any speeds at all for Premium users. However, we do use a different service and different ISPs for files under 500MB than we do for files above 500MB. It sounds like your ISP has good connections to our < 500MB service/ISPs but bad connections to our > 500MB service/ISPs. Unfortunately there is absolutely nothing we can do about this as we cannot/do not control the routing between our ISP and yours.
