Sound keeps cutting out

The title says it all... the sound cuts out with no apparent cause and stays off until I have restarted the game from a save.

I dunno if this will help you out or not. I used to have this problem all the time back when I was playing on the PS4.

At first it seemed like it was random. And in a few cases, it was. Most of the time it happened when I spent too much time spamming a work station. Especially the chemistry station, armor bench, or weapon bench.

For the PS4, one of the things that helped was to sort out the load order for anything that added to those benches.

 

Now also on that deck... the sound crashing out like that was a 100% guarantee that the next time the game was going to try to save, it wouldnt. It would crash and corrupt the save that it was going to try to make.

 

I haven't had the problem since switching to the PC tho.

 

I think part of the problem on the deck was really bad habits on my part. I hadn't learned that it's not ok to just go adding and removing mods at random, and not being careful about load order.
