Tannin42 Posted March 20, 2020 Share Posted March 20, 2020 I think this happens ~1 minute after downloads finish (that is: after the last download finishes).The cause is that Vortex now prevents (or tries to prevent) the OS from going to sleep during the download and that error happens when it tries to inform the OS that it's ok to sleep again. It's safe to click "Ignore" on this error message, that shouldn't have a negative effect. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Twice when trying to add a note to a recently downloaded mod, and a third time - long after any downloads had completed - when the pop-up about replacing a mod appeared the error message appeared right after it. I quit and restarted Vortex each time and was able to complete the tasks ok. Will just use 'ignore' in the future. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
