  1. Wouldn't your account name above, puss2puss, have also been your user name?
  2. 29 broken .dll in my current skyrim load. I expect it will be a while...
  3. I just tried it. Get a blank page that stays blank.
  4. I personally see it as a win for real Americans.
  5. well done on responding to a post from a year ago. SOileau's response was about 6 months later in the thread. YOU are the one commenting to a post from a year ago...
  6. This is a fascinating discussion and it brings me to a question. In a battle between Copyright Law and a ToS, who usually wins?
  7. Plain old up-to-date Mozilla Firefox gets exactly the same thing.
  8. +1000 YES! YES! YES!!! A THOUSAND TIMES YES!!! SUGGESTION OF THE FREAKING YEAR!!!!!!!!!!! It IS an excellent suggestion...you said very well for all of us! (I hit the wrong quote button. This is supposed to be a response to your message "AM I the only other person who thinks this is an awesome idea?")
  9. shouldn't that be : ... iSize W=1920 iSize H=1080 ? 1920 x 1200 screens exist.
  10. I am also getting the above notifications with the new version. My plugins are Active: 178 Light: 111. My last entry in the index column prior to the FE(xx) light plugins is B1. I am currently ignoring this.
  11. I also updated to SKSE version 2.0.18 and had the same problem. I rolled back to version 2.0.17 and it is working again... Something is not right with version 2.0.18.
  12. Same here, though I'm not sure the 'Host OS' info is relevant. 7-zip says the same for the files in the 1.1 version of the mod but I have no issues in that case. Since the file checksums match those recorded, I guess something about our systems must be responsible for what we're seeing. Maybe I'll try to compile some details about my system and PM you if that's alright. Regardless, I appreciate you looking into this and reporting what you found. Sure, i will be happy to help if I can.
  13. Don't know if this will help, but I manually downloaded the file and viewed it with 7-zip. 7-zip tells me that the 'Host OS' for all the files is Unix. Also found the files beginning with an underscore character were each 4096 bytes in size. The readable characters appears to be the same in each file: Mac OS X 2 ° â ATTR m â ˜ D ˜ D com.apple.quarantine 0043;513cf2ab;The\x20Unarchiver;367F1765-5F1A-4628-9C36-EFA6FEF98D94 This resource fork intentionally left blank ÿÿ I have no explanations, just reporting what I found...
  14. I just jumped over to the new Nehrim site to check it out. As a premium member, why am I seeing ads when I go there? EDIT: I see what happened. Going straight to the mod site did NOT carry my login info over. Once I left the forum and then started the mod site, all was well...
  15. Any time I have needed to change a FOMOD setting, I have used reinstall. It has always worked perfectly for me...
  16. I am also getting error messages like these. I checked and all the error messages are incorrect. The game (SSE) runs just fine and all mods are present and working properly. Therefore, I am just ignoring the "error" messages.
  17. Just a note about testing with ping. The command sends a series of packets to your target ip address and gives you information on the length of time for a response from the target ip and a count of lost packets, if any. It is more informative to use the tracert command. It will report back on each piece of equipment your packets pass through, thus showing you the route. It will also frequently indicate the approximate point in the route that is having problems, if any. There are times when the route passes through so many pieces of equipment that tracert is unable to list all of them, but that doesn't happen often.
  18. I am getting this error also. Twice when trying to add a note to a recently downloaded mod, and a third time - long after any downloads had completed - when the pop-up about replacing a mod appeared the error message appeared right after it. I quit and restarted Vortex each time and was able to complete the tasks ok. Will just use 'ignore' in the future.
  19. Would that clever little program by any chance have a name and/or link you would share?? you could use google for "password manager" and see what that gives you. Wow, you really like to snipe at people...

  21. I have also gotten updates right away...until now. Checked and I do have auto-updates selected for Skyrim SE. Steam always loads when my system boots. I always run Skyrim with Steam also running. My system is on and connected to the internet for 12 to 18 hours a day. I cleared my Steam download cache and re-logged into Steam. As of this post, my Skyrim SE is still version 1.5.80.0.8 and running fine. I will wait a few more days to see if anything happens. If not, I guess I will just download Skyrim SE again and see what I get. Thanks for your help. Update: Told steam to install Skyrim SE again. It Installed right over my current installation with no problems. I am now running 1.5.97 and busy repairing all the broken mods :) ... still don't understand why I never got an automatic update, but all is well now.
  22. Does it take a few days for the update to get distributed to everyone? Mine is still at 1.5.80.
  23. Having the same redirection problem. As noted earlier, setting Firefox security to strict has stopped it for now.
  24. Just wanted to say I have the same situation as the OP since updating to Vortex 0.18.6. Prior to the update Vortex would take a minute or two to check for updates to 175 Skyrim SE mods. Now the update check takes less than 5 seconds and no updates have been found since updating to Vortex 0.18.6. I have not had the time to individually check each mod for an update but it is highly unusual for that many mods to NOT have any updates in the time since Vortex 0.18.6 was released.
