kevinsmith121
If someone could help I am a very new player to morrowind I just bought the whole set together Morrowind, Tribunal and Bloodmoon. I was looking at the mods and I thought I would add just two. The adventurers one that makes leveling slower and the "a place to stay" mod. i have a bit of a problem though, the room in a place to stay works fine but it is illegal for me to sleep in the bed. It is also not illegal to sleep in Caius's bed. the only Bed I can use is the bloke in the house next to Caius. Any ideas chaps? cactoblasta
You can't sleep in a bed if there are enemies around or there is anyone nearby who might think its theirs. Safe beds are those in the mages' and fighters' guilds, especially in Balmora. Don't sleep in temple or cult beds while you are a member or chances are you'll be expelled. For some reason, i don't know why, guilds seem to consider the sharing of beds to be an unforgiveable offence.

kevinsmith121
Ok I just thought I would let everyone know how stupid I am, I stand next to the bed, look at the bed and then instead of the space bar.... I push "T" which I thought was the rest button. How dumb am I!! Thank to all who replied, probably best to ignore me in future! Just out of interest, what is the general opinion of the Adventurers mod it makes the leveling slower amonst other things is this a good thing? Please bear in mind I have all three MW,Tribunal and bloodmoon and I am just starting out. I am under the impression it will make the game last longer as otherwise I might get too powerful to do the other extra bits the addons give me. Baphomet
I use the Adventurer's Plug-in myself and I really like it. It makes several minor changes to gameplay, but I like them and I don't think any one aspect is changed that dramatically; it's kind of "cumulative effect" sort of thing. If you're in doubt about liking the changes, I suggest downloading the Plug-in and reading the "Read Me" text before installing and make your own decision. Of course having not played much withOUT it (assuming you install it) you most likely won't even notice the changes as you won't have a solid basis for comparison. I am under the impression it will make the game last longer as otherwise I might get too powerful to do the other extra bits the addons give me. I wouldn't worry about running out of things to do in MW, and if you feel like you're getting a little too "uber", there are solutions for that too... (evil chuckle).
