My ESP doesn't show up

I've reinstalled MW after many years, being stuck at home because of you-know-what. I made a plug in that changes a few values such as gem prices.

However, it's not showing up in Data files. It shouldn't be dependent on anything but the MW.ESM but if I did change something that depended on T or BM

can I just add the others as dependencies to cover myself?

If you installed Morrowind into Program Files (x86) you could be running into folder virtualisation issues.

Yes, I just learned about that issue on the WIKI. I guess I must rip the x86 install out?

OK, next problem. MW defaults to the x86 and can't be changed. I presume there's a work around?

My media is so old, I still have my MW disk from 2002. That, and the GOTY I bought from Best Buy in like 2004. Beth itself says you can change the install location. When was that option added?

I presume my problems with the CS are due to WIN10.

Yeah, CD version here too. I was able to select an install location, although it's years since I actually ran the thing. If by CS problems you mean this saving of the plugin then folder virtualisation was introduced with Vista, IIRC.

People are obviously still making mods. Is there a work around for this folder virtualization?

You could try manually moving the install folder, then using Regedit to update the Registry entries for Morrowind.

I did half of that. I pulled the MW folder out and moved it to the C root. Runs fine. I'll try doing the Regedit thing.
