Removing Transparency in BGEM files

I actually wanted to ask about removing transparency for BGEM files, but I think I found out:

Uncheck the Falloff tags

This helped me with the Flight Helmet Visors

(If anyone offers better or other solutions please still post them for future readers)

Bgem gives transparency. Just copy all your textures into the other material type BGSM.

Use a base BGSM for something like Hazmat suit and copy paste in the textures you want.

Idk, checking falloff sounds easier.

I was opposite and trying to create clear glass on a car windows. Took me ages to figure it out because in nif it would look clear but not on game.

Bgem is what I needed

I was testing around things with materials recently. I think the transparency actually comes from BSEffectShaderProeprty of the TriShape inside the nif file. I did the same thing, although the texture looked a bit different ingame, it still had transparency.

For BGEM file might work the following - set Alpha to 1, Alpha Blend Mode to Unknown or None. That should remove all transparency, but the texture will become like solid color, probably black.

BGEM are, I guess, another format for material files. I think they are used mostly for effects, like transparency. I don't know other good examples. Transparency not only for clothes, also for body tattoos. The textures used for these effects are black and white, can have semi or full transparency. Color is available through options in the material file and greyscale textures(or was it palette). Someone correct me if I am wrong about any of this.
