assterixxx
I just got done installing all the good HQ textures and then I proceeded to install Pure ENB with full SSAO. Launched the game and coc'ed to Solitude for a jaw dropping experience: An average of ~27 FPS, the 2 mins I were there! And the funny part is, I couldn't really see the difference. This might be because I haven't done any remarkable settings/tweaks, but I couldn't tell the difference between the FAXX and this ENB. Cool stuff... Guess I'll go back to FXAA. Thanks for all your inputs. It gave me the courage to try something new!
Jeir
I think the best way to show the difference is with comparison shots...With FXAA preset 1.With Project ENB v1.1. Despite the FPS loss (I was nearing my limit for what my game could use anyway, and am planning on scaling down my texture mods (using med or high instead of 'ultra' res textures) next time I play), I honestly prefer the ENB version. =3 Edited December 15, 2012 by Jeir
bDeferredShadows
I decided to take a screenshot of the same scene. I can note some SkyrimPref.ini differences between you and I. No draw land shadows or tree self shadowing in my case. My 2GB GTX560 would be able to handle better you'd think but for a smooth experience I leave these things off. I can say I like your ENB screenshot best. http://i48.tinypic.com/29koms2.jpg
ilikecheese1337
How is the water in Jeir's Project ENB screenshot so clear and lifelike? My W.A.T.E.R. water is always blue.
Jeir
@ilikecheese1337:The SSAO option in Project ENB makes the difference. =DI experimented with taking SSAO off, to try and gain some FPS back, but it just made the water dark blue again. Thus, 'welcome back SSAO!'.
