AWESOME Hey, these ICE textures... couldn't we darken them a TINY bit and use them to texture the fronts of the houses that are coming out of the glacier?

Hahahaha, thank you. We would be more than happy to have you join us, the more the merrier! Yeah, I have been getting that its shape is a little too perfect, however, when you PLAY the game, 1) you arent looking at the overhead view and 2) the top of the branches are going to be a giant forest. All of the houses, are built right into the side of the branches, which is why I am going to make a LOT of ledges for a very complex ledge system. If you want, you can defnitely help with side quests and I am sure that when the time comes there is going to be an insatiable need for clutterers. And even before that, we need to place all of the buildings and such, so there will be plenty for you to do. Ummm unfortunately the program to make trees is actually a professional one and rather expensive, although there are some trees with snow on them already. Actually I might just give you the job that I wanted, because I am going to be spending my time modelling ledges now and probably wont have time to make the forest on the top. (Which needs to start beng done immediately, because I need to create the LOD to see the whole thing ingame, and i cant make it till the ground is done being shaped)

 

Oh and on a side note, I'm a complete idiot:

David1: So we need to texture the ground to check out what it looks like

David2: Yeah, but how do you put your own on the ground?

David1: Hmmm, I dont know.

David2: Me neither

David1: Maybe I'll just put this ROCK SNOW texture down

David2: Oh well that sounds good...oh wait, the WHOLE THING IS MADE OF ICE...wow.

 

In short, we are going to have to re-retexture the land as icy, and yes we should only make a slight difference in the textures since it is supposed to be carved.

 

What are we going to use though to make contrasts though? I dont want EVERYTHING to be the same color on the outside, although it is hard to see with all the snow anyway.

 

I think i will make the ledges a pretty different color, just to mix it all up.

I know how we can solve the problem of contrast and another problem That I am unsure why it never became one. If I use a different color (shade whatever) of ice texture for the ledges of the city (per district) then that way we can add more color, AND distinguish where you are, because the whole thing IS a giant circle.

Close to finishing Eden Castle now. So Ill be able to run 2 projects side by side in a week or 2, and then ill be able to focus purely on this mod hopefully shortly after that.

Cool, and sorry keylek...ummm I was getting carried away with names, i didnt mean it to specifically relate to you or anything. Well then, no one plan on talking to me till like friday, that thing at school is going to take FOREVER to do, and then I need to do my hw afterward. Pain in the butt is all. Ummm we give you the .esp file, that's how, you do your work, save it, check it wahtever, and then send it back, it gets redistributed...actually when we send it to you, it might me better if you changed the name of the file to like Alisae2 or something. That way we know what is where. I'll organize a system, and I think you should get skype, it is an instant messenger program that so far almost all of the people in the mod are using to communicate. Its VERY effective being able to talk like that, so if you are interested, type in skype on google and you'll findthe download page somewhere. Then just download it, make a name, and go to tools (on the top of the skype window) add new contact, and then search for armageddon818, send me a message telling me who you are, and then i'll answer it. Simple! kk got to go do mountains of hw.
