I lack the training to do it myself, also Google SketchUp Has a terrible texture system. Description: H.E.S.R.-650 Hazardous Environment Survival Rifle. Made by Vault Tech and intended to be distributed to all vaults, Intended for an emergency within the vault or for leaving the vault in last resort. War broke out before it could be mass produced. There are only a few prototypes left. Phoynix Posted December 5, 2008 Share Posted December 5, 2008 That looks like some advanced gas rifle rather then railgun, RailGuns dont have a traditonal barral because unlike gas propelled guns they dont need to guide the bullet, the bullet doesnt actually touch anything. There are actually some pictures around and some Utube videos that have current day railguns, they dont really work but you can see how they look. The back should have 2 supports going to the stock, a high powered rifle would twist when fired with only a top support, smg etc get away with this because there not very powerful. Textureing is actually FUN(Not that IM any good at it) a good book for a beginner is the dark side of textureing. THE REAL PAIN IN THE ASS is setting out the UVs And my post seemed like a bit of an attack so just editing to say its NOT The gun is good idea that just needs in my own judgement a bit more work on some parts that look too traditional. And give permision for texturing it! in think in days Your promlem will be solved:) i hope becouse this gun looks great! A few people will at least grab it and play around with it, and you can pick which one you like best? Dunno, just a suggestion. BTW great work!
