So I'm trying to make a Geralt companion mod for Fallout New Vegas, but I've run into a bit of an issue.

Instead of making a new race, I imported a Geralt head mesh from the Skyrim Nexus, and I've made it an equip-able piece of armor.

However, instead of fitting onto an NPC's head, it floats several feet above them.

How can I fix this?

Well you can lower it in Blender or Nifskope. But as long as it is skinned correctly to the skeleton it'll be at the right place in game. I don't think you can directly use skyrim meshes without modification though.

I should also mention that I slapped the head mesh onto an already existing helmet in game, the Enclave Power Helmet to be exact.

It should be a pipboy icon  err would be a good emoji too.

Figured it was time to change it out. Besides, the new avatar gives a off a much better depiction of me : )

Long live the Soggy Bottom Boys btw

Sumthin meaning what ever you wanted to put in there.

If you send me the file I can take a look at it, it's always difficult to tell what the issue is when I can't look at the mesh myself.
