Mookeylama
question to folks who've used raised ugrids. y'all think it better to start off w/ them raised, or raise 'em after helgen? thanks
LargeStyle
I'd say that seeing as the whole Helgen experience happens either directly within Helgen itself, or its dungeons and caves, you probably wont notice what your uGrid settings are as you can't see anything that'll demonstrate this feature. So to be on the safe (and logical) side, I'd up the uGrids to 7 once you've left Helgen area and start on your way to Riverwood. That said, you could also try it with uGrids to 7 right from the start, and if it doesn't work well / causes problems straight away then restart the game back on uGrids to 5 - it wont' / shouldn't take long to catchup on the initial mission progression. stars2heaven
You can't raise your ugrids after you start a game. You have to decide what you want and stick with it.
