Give me 5 minutes or so to change everything.

HadToRegister
Are the mods you're installing, showing up in the game's DATA folder?WHich mods are you installing?Post the links Also, how did you install SKSE64? SKSE install [ Installation ] 1. Copy the .dll and .exe files to your Skyrim SE directory. This is usually in your Program Files folder under Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\. If you see files named SkyrimSE and SkyrimSELauncher, this is the correct folder. Do not copy these files to the Data folder as with a normal mod. The "src" folder is only useful for programmers, most users can ignore it. 2. Copy the .pex files in Data\Scripts\ into the Data\Scripts\ folder of your installation. The .pex files are needed by all users of SKSE.

One moment.....Yes it did download into the DATA folder. this https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/27430?tab=files is the mod im trying to use to make sure Vortex is working right. It said SKSE64 was already installed when I installed Vortex. This is the Link: http://skse.silverlock.org/ I use to download SKSE64. I have even installed SKSE64 to all the right folders and still doesn't make the difference. P.S. I do have TeamViewer if you wanted to take a hard look if you are interested in that. :x Edited April 21, 2020 by Jub5150
Anselmp
I think we have someone here who believes in magic. If an install does not work the first time it will not work the second time unless you do something different. 3 times?Be very precise. You have not followed exactly the instructions given. Obviously the drive letter can be different, but why put an extra mods directory in?People who do not know you will be reluctant to use your Teamviewer as it is a popular program with scammers. My path is steam\steamapps not Steam Games.Once you have made sure that Vortex knows where your downloads for Skyrim SE are, you could remove all your mods and reinstall them from the downloads. Vortex would put them all in the same place. Then make sure that SKSE is installed there. You cannot install one too many mods without waving your magic wand.
