Check for updates doesnt work + Action "open mod on Nexus" is missing

I just got a brand new computer and decided to do a clean install of Vortex v 1.2.8 and all of my mods (400+) for Skyrim SE. Finally got all the dependencies and rules to work and the load order looks good as well.

 

However, it doesn't seem that the function "Check for updates" works anymore, the search goes very fast (just 2-3 seconds) and finds no updates whatsoever even though I can clearly see that several mods have been updated on Nexus (on my dowload page). I have tried the regular and the full search-version but nothing

works...

 

Also, the "Actions-dropdownlist" for mods is missing the link "Open on Nexus". I have tried the "Fix Nexus mods links" but that didnt work...

 

Any suggestions?

Select all your mods with CTRL + A, then click "Guess ID" on the toolbar at the bottom.

 

This will attempt to link your mods with their Nexus Mods pages.

 

These two features require that link to be made.
