Hello,

I'm trying to make the sniper rifle deadly accurate but even when I set the maximum and minimum spread to zero, it still sucks. The blackhawk scoped magnum is still way more accurate. Can anyone help me out here?

i dont think 0 is a valid value to be used. could be wrong. try .1

and as far as i cant tell, max spread is for minimum skill and min spread is for maximum skill. however there are other factors like standing vs crouching that effect it.

also you will never get dead accuracy as long as the auto aim is there

0 is a valid value - the min and max spreads are values that dictate how tightly grouped the weapon's projectiles are shot-to-shot and skill doesn't have a bearing on this, and 0 works for both values, it just means it is 100% same place always. Otherwise, 100% skill would make shotguns fire one mass of pellet instead of scattering like, well, shot.

The reason the Sniper Rifle (and the Reservist's and Victory rifles) isn't as accurate with 0 values is that you need to set the projectile behavior to 0 as well - default vanilla is set at 2, just like the fat man for some reason. Once all are set to zero it should shoot like a laser.

Which isn't realistic at all, by the way :P ;)

Though as Vash said - the autoaim can and will still cause some headaches.
