Moraelin
Oh, the lightsabers aren't supposed to be lore friendly. They were just supposed to help me understand the file format and, among other things, how to add custom sounds. All my mods are along those lines, actually. I'm this kind of a curious kitten: http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=193 ;) Whether the actual mod is of any use to anyone, well, that's another question. There are better artists than me to make the actual stuff players use. Information on _how_ to do that stuff, though, now that was what was missing badly for a while. I think a few people did benefit from the information I dug out of it, though, while the GECK wasn't out yet. So I'm guessing it wasn't a complete waste. vashts1985
im sure you didnt. he was not very clear about that. ive said noting untill now because he has not released them, officially claiming the work to be his. however now that its getting advertised as his, i felt the need to say something. sorry if i was misleading myself, its not your fault. of course i dont have and answer to your question, but i do have a AR rifle or 2 lined up, its just i cannot see putting them in without being able to edit the animations a little to look like he is pulling the bolt handle properly, kinda why ive held of saying anything about it. we will see though
Banadan
I don't mind the small guns, there's plenty of them though adding some older Fallout type weapons would be cool. What I would like to see would be more heavy weapons for example. Look at Fallout Tactics, heavy weapon selection was nice. Or, say, Fallout 2 - several different heavy weapons. I want my good ol' Bozar, or Vindicator... Or good ol' Pancor Jackhammer, the fun I had with it. And Gauss Rifle and Gauss Pistol, putting pumpkin sized holes into opponents over long range.. A properly functioning M16 or M4 will leave the bolt locked back at the end of a magazine, and all you need to do is hit the bolt release on the left side of the receiver and you're ready to rock. The only time the bolt needs to be pulled back via the T handle is when you're chambering the first round in an empty gun with the bolt already down. Now, I'm not sure its possible but it'd be easy to keep the same animation and just have the bolt-drop sound play when reloading a fully emptied weapon - if it was reloading from a partial mag you'd already have a round chambered anyway and you'd simply be swapping magazines. asonofashadow
Wow that looks great guess I don't need to make a M4 after all. It needs a texture though if you send me the model I'll gladly paint it to look real.
