Dazaster
Hello there. Today I released a mod for Fallout 4, then put up an image to tell people(https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/images/176295). In the image I included a link to the mod, https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/44786. At first the link gave a gibberish link, forgot to capture it, then I redid it and now it points to an image from 2016 titled Into the Dark sea by l00ping, with this weird header - https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/images/%EF%BB%BFhttps://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/44786So I'm guessing somethings not right, probably a you've got a small cough and a bit of a fever.. Cheers if you could look into it.
BigBizkit
Not sure I'm following. The URL for the link to your mod reads "https ://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/images/176295/%EF%BB%BFhttps://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/44786" I assume you didn't mean to add the first part. I just copy pasted the URL for your mod into your image description and the link works fine now. Let me know if there is anything else I can help with :)
Dazaster
Thanks it's working now, but https ://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/images/176295/%EF%BB%BF is exactly what I was saying. The link came up as that the second time by itself, even though the link I posted was correct. The first time I posted the link it just came up as gibberish full of %EF%BB%BF type stuff across 3 lines of text.
Dazaster
It happened again in a new image - https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/images/177136? Same as before, first the link directs to a string of gobbledy gook. Then, after editing and posting the link again it takes people to image 176295 Had to type a link manually
Pickysaurus
Could you please list the steps you are taking to get into this situation? It's not something I can replicate. I suspect browser addons may be causing the problem.
Dazaster
OK. Not doing anything different, just posting a link like I've done many times for my other mods in the imageshare.I start by copying the mod link from the browser, in this case https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/44786 Then I do the link [ url=https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/44786 ] Rocks[ /url ] , without the spaces between the parenthesis obviously. Annnnd that's it. Every time I do it in a new image, the link goes to a blank page with strings across the top like :><@OIYGJ$%^&* If I edit the image and redo the link, it points to https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/images/44786 There's some sort of cross-link as both mod and image have the same number, i.e. 44786 The only difference I've noticed is that way back all the mods on the Nexus had no ? at the end, then they changed and all had a ? at the end, now they're all back to not having one. Hope this helps.
