NotSednario Posted May 3, 2020 Share Posted May 3, 2020 Hiya, so i seem to be having a lot of trouble with vortex. Now, i am new to vortex, so if i say something incorrect feel free to correct me :) So, a couple of days ago i decided to dip my toes into the mods for bannerlord. At first i manually installed everything, though for some reason that did not work, i would install, enable them in bannerlord launcher and make sure they are in the correct order, still no mods when i use the game. Naturally, i thought using a mod manager would help, so i turned to vortex. At first when i would enable and deploy my mods there wold be none when i launch the game via vortex. After that i decided to accept defeat and make a new vanilla play through. Though now i really want to play the game with mods, everytime i start the game it crashed on startup no matter what mods i use. Pickysaurus Posted May 3, 2020 Share Posted May 3, 2020 Are you sure you're using the right version of those mods for your game? Some mods have been updated for the beta. One thing I do also suggest is to go to Settings -> Mods and move the "Mod Staging Folder" to the same HDD as Bannerlord. Pickysaurus Posted May 3, 2020 Share Posted May 3, 2020 You load order also show "Detailed Character Creation" and "Noble Nobles" which I don't see in Vortex, so it's possible you have leftovers from when you tried to install manually. Do the following to correct it: 1) Click purge in Vortex.2) Open your Bannerlord game folder.3) Under "modules" delete all folders except Native, SandBox Core, CustomBattle, Sandbox and StoryMode.4) Verify your game files via Steam.5) Deploy your Vortex mods and try again. I just installed only BannerPresants and it worked for me. I also installed the latest version of DCC and Noble Nobles without an issue. So I suspect those leftovers are the problem.
