When you step inside the museum, about half a dozen raiders start shooting at the same time, which may overload your system. And Garv can't be killed, no matter how often you shoot the git. To the point: eliminate any mod that alters something to the Raiders and Minutemen's appearance or gear, any mods that change weapons, or any mod that alters Preston's party or this inside of the Museum.
