Can I run Skyrim

Without a dedicated graphics card you're going to have a hard time. That computer only has on-board graphics, meaning its integrated into the motherboard, and is much less powerful than your average graphics card.

Other than that, I personally prefer Intel processors and I would also get more RAM, like 8gb instead of just 4.

Here are the specs of a custom machine I just put together using that same website.

Case: Cooler Master Silencio 550

CPU: Intel i5 3570K - (4 x 3.4 GHZ) - Ivy Bridge

CPU Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo - Low Noise

RAM: Corsair 8GB XMS3 PC3-12800 1600MHz (2x4GB) - Lifetime Warranty (DDR3)

Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti - 2 GB - (PALIT) - (PCI-E)

Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V LX (Intel Z77) - VGA/DVI

Power supply: Corsair 750W PSU - Low Noise

Hard drive: 1 TB Seagate (1000 GB) SATA-III HDD 7200 RPM 64MB

DVD: Samsung 24x DVD/CD Re-Writer/Reader - Black - (SATA)

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64 BIT

£954.45

It would be very good for Skyrim and other game, but probably twice your budget. But it provides a good indication, and you can scale down from there. You could get a cheaper power supply for example, 500W minimum. You could also save money off of that price by getting a cheaper CPU/processor, like the cheapest quad core i5.

You will want more than 1 hard drive because you'll want to back up things from your main drive. But they are usually easy to find and you probably have an old computer you can take one from.

If you are buying any new PC along with graphics card, of cause you can RUN the game, it all comes down to how well you want to PLAY the game with regards to FPS and detail! Plus don't forget there are a ton of mods out there to increase game performance to get even more out of your machine.

Im playing at around 15FPS with a card from 2008 and a PC from 2006 so the game is optimized well enough anyway, it just depends on what settings you wish to use!

I found some computers that are about the same price. http://www.ebuyer.com/search?price=595+TO+670&cat=465

Ebuyer.com is for the UK, too.

With those two i5 processors, I know they aren't the best i5s on the market, but I'm pretty sure they are better than the AMD CPU being used for the computer you linked (can anyone confirm this?).

This benchmark ranking also indicates how one card compares to another. http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html The two I linked to are at No. 13 and No. 17, while the one in the computer you linked to is lower.

Plus, about the RAM, don't worry that the RAM is lower for the ones I linked to. 16 GB of RAM is useless for computer gaming at the moment, and useless for Skyrim. New games these days make use of 4 GB of RAM. I'd say sometime soon, we'll start to see PC games that utilize 8 GB of RAM. PC games utilizing 16 GB of RAM is kind of far off from now. By time PC games use 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM, you can easily just upgrade your computer from 8 GB to 16 GB.
