Installing An ENB Mod corrupted My Chararcter.

I installed the Superb ENB mod, and now I can't load my character. I can start a new one and the game loads up fine, but my one character will not load, no matter what save I open, be it one I made yesterday, or the one I made in the Alternative Start room.

All of the saves I open say it's missing content that was there last time, but I haven't uninstalled anything. And the Prison save was made with a clean Skyrim, the alternative start, custom race and hair mod, all of which are still there?

What happened? Do I really have to start the game again..?

well, did you have to put anything into the data folder with the ENB? Some ENBs come with required or optional installs for the data folder, maybe something in there messed with a mod you have installed? Otherwise no reason for an ENB to mess with an old save

The on;y things in the Data Folder were

RealisticLightingPatcher.Jar

RealisticLightingPathcer.esp

RealisticLighting.esp

RealisticLighting.ini

Can't see anything that would conflict with that.

It may actually be the race. There is a third version of the race I use now..

One was the one I use, One is an Old version used by a follower mod and I don't know where this third one came from.#

EDIT: It seems the problem is loading in general. I can't load the new game I just made..

What?

Neither of those worked. I can't load any save games. Even new ones. I can start a new game but when I exit it I can't load it again..

I'm not sure but this appears to suggest that mods you've installed in the past but have removed are not fully uninstalled (EX: scripts get left behind, replaced files stay "replaced", etc...)

Are you using any other mods? I say this not to check for conflicts, as uninstalling the enb has proven this shouldn't be a conflict, but that you may want to backup your saves and redownload skyrim. If you do have other mods, however, there is a margin for error in terms that the save may not load even after all the mods are reinstalled.

That's the best I can suggest with my knowledge but this is a last resort kind of thing as it is a bit risky.
