Try deleting StorageUtil.save inside Skyrim/Data/SKSE/Plugins. Fixed startup errors for me.

I fixed it. I had to delete a file called "Storageutil.save" from SKSE plugins folder.

I've now tried resetting my .ini's, re-installing SKSE, Running CCleaner, and undoing recent changes. Still no luck. Something possibly worth mentioning is that, when I run the game through normal means (Not through SKSE) the game gets onto the main menu. Of course, none of the buttons load (mod issues undoubtedly), but it's strange that I can get further into the game through something that should NOT work as opposed to something that should.

So, they game was working fine the other day. I'm playing the game with no issues. I close the game, then shut down my PC. The next day, when I try to open the game, After about a minute of nothing happening (That's normal) I just get a black screen with "Skyrim has stopped working.". I hadn't made any changes to my game, at all during the time it broke, no load order or mod changes. I've looked up the issue, and tried everything I've found. Restarting Steam, Restarting PC, verifying cache. I've used both BOSS and Tes5Edit, there's no load order issues. I'm kind of stumped on what the problem is, seeing as I've made no changes at all since it was working perfectly.. Any ideas? Edit: RESOLVED. If anyone ever gets this problem, go to Skyrim/Data/SKSE/Plugins and delete a file called "StorageUtil.save".

It would be nice if when you changed mod profiles, you could have download categories for each one. I have a profile with over 200 mods, and decided to start one with hardly any. But when I want to install a mod to the new one, I have to go through the 200+ mods to find it, which gets annoying.

Does anyone know if they exist? I can't find any that don't look like they've been taken straight out of an anime, and I don't like any of the vanilla hairs. Anybody know of something?

In the same spot, every time I try to walk to Bleak Falls Barrow, my game freezes. The spot is right before the rock that covers the path, just before the Watchtower. My game is not reaching the 3.1gb Limit, as my game never reaches higher than 1.1gb Ram usage. (Somehow. NMM Mod section has over 200 Mods) Here is my load order: I have tried verifying the steam cache, but that didn't work either. I have waited 31 days whilst inside the Riverwood inn to reset the cells, which also did not help. I have freezes in other places, but I cannot reproduce any of them. Any help? I don't know what it could be.

Were you already in WhiteRun, and it only crashes when you try to load a new cell? Can you "coc" to anywhere? And can you start a new game?

Earlier today I tried to make some .ini changes to speed up performance, as well as install Organised Bandits In Skyrim. However, when I opened up the game and clicked continue, the loading screen showed up an I got "Skyrim has stopped working.". I tried to load a previous save from when I was indoors, and the game loaded up fine, however when I tried to leave the house, Skyrim stopped working. I thought it must just be an issue with things spawned in that save, so I went to make a new game, but Skyrim stopped working again. I undid all changes I made, Restored a previous .ini and Uninstalled OBIS, and tried to open up my game. Continuing (Outdoors) I got a CTD. Loading the Indoor save, game opened fine, but crashed when leaving the house. Trying to start a new game, game still CTD's. Does anyone know what might have happened? I don't understand why the crashes persist, even after I undid the changes. Thanks in advance for any help.

BUMP. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it. I literally die when I drink healing potions. It's horrible.

Here is my load order. Sorry it's so long! There is quite a few unrecognised files, but they are all armour mods, expect for one which handles attributes in a weird way. It's Phendrix's Magic Transcended. For it's spells it drains Magika first, then Stamina, then health, instead of just using only magika. I haven't seen anyone else with this issue though. Does anyonme know if it's a bug with that mod?

Having quite an odd bug here. My Health, Magika, and Stamina keep getting drained to 0 for no reason. When I talk to my compainion and select the command option (I'm using EFF) my magika gets drained to 0. If I'm in combat and I start to take damage, when I drink a health potion, instead of it healing me, it just kills me. If I'm on 50/100 HP and I drink a health potion, while I'm on the menu the heartbeat sound effect will start, when I close the menu I die. Another odd thing, is that attributes don't recharge simultaneously. If my Magika is 0/200, and my stamina is 50/100, my magika won't change from 0/200 until my stamina is 100/100. Is this normal? Has anyone seen this glitch before? I can't imagine what the problem could be..

Having a bit of an annoyance. My game crashes to desktop when I save it. The odd thing is, it doesn't actually fail to save, when I start the game back up, I'm exactly where I tried to save, with no other issues. So the only problem is, the game just closes itself. No save game problems or loss of data. As far I'm aware, unless I'm just not paying attention, it only happens on the second QuickSave of every session. After I open up the game again, I can save once with no trouble, then on the second one the game closes. Has anyone had this before? Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Assuming you're on windows, you should be able to go to your Skyrim folder, right click it and go to properties, then go to "Previous Versions" And select one from before you deleted the folder.

I could when I have that issue. I get a problem where if I try to fast travel somewhere there will still be red dots on my compass, and it tells me I can't fast travel in combat, but then if I try to wait it brings up the menu and lets me wait, then after waiting the dots are gone and I can fast travel.

That happens to me a lot too, have you tried waiting an hour? That usually fixes it for me.

What is the console command to finish the "Find the source of power in..." quest that Arngeir gives you? I got the quest "Find the source of power inside Volundruud.", but the word wall is glitched and I cannot get the word, so the quest is stuck and I can't ask him for more words. Can anyone help me with this? It's kind of irritating..

Does anyone one know what "MGritual05dragonscript" is? It shows up with errors repeatedly. Something about not being able to get the heading angle to a none object?

A clean install with a new save. Uninstalled skyrim, and deleted both the Skyrim folders in My games and the steam folder.

There seems to be one file that just doesn't want to fix itself. Everytime I verify there's always 1 file missing. EDIT: Neither of these worked.
