hector530
When you go back to your game a message should have popped up saying if you want to skip to the mission(s) you passed on an online game
Ironman5000
I don't remember seeing anything like that, if I did click ok on a window like this without noticing does that mean I lost my own game?
Thor.
No that happens when you join other players game, it adds the missions to your mission log, but you don't have to go through them all, you can simply play as you were before. Just be careful next time to look at the description of the online mission log before joining a online game, You could be rushed directly to the ending if your not careful, especially if your lower level then they are. matchmaking is good, but just stick with the search instead.. Ironman5000
@Thor: Well this is still my first playthrough and haven't met brick yet even though he is at my home, I don't know if I will get the mission to meet him now or if I do the quests available by him now will they be repeated if I do get the mission that introduces him :psyduck: You know I wish I hadn't bothered with online play now my game feels broken  EDIT:stick with the search insteadI did do a manual search but with it being my first playthrough I don't recognise mission names so don't know what i'm getting into, even with games I am familiar with I don't pay that much attention to mission names...are they expecting me to familiarise myself with them all? Thor.
Lol you should of tried playing borderlands 1, the dynamic online and off line play is what sets the game apart from the rest. its not a matter what quest your on, its the weapons and strategy, You can play them all, but are you equipped to do so, at level 1 you really couldn't start a lv15 dlc quest now could you http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/teehee.gif WOOOWW badasss alert Edited January 2, 2013 by Thor. Ironman5000
You lost me there  I was following the quest story so when I get shunted forward I miss a gap and story gets lost. The matchmaking search gives a list of player names and the missions that they are on that are roughly in the same difficulty as the player, I get that, but it's really vague unless you have completed the game at least once. Thor.
yes but each mission has a level status on them, if its red its impossible, if its yellow its Insanely difficult, if its green its a good match. You can play play them in any given order, unless you meat the required level cap. Like if its green labeledhttp://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/yes.gif Edited January 2, 2013 by Thor.
Ironman5000
Well i've not been back on the game since, it's completely broke the game for me that has. They should put a warning up to play the game on single player first then go online the second time around to avoid crap like this :armscrossed: @Thor: difficulty wasn't the problem, I know they match up similar difficulties for the players level but different people do different missions in their games so if I have accidentally adopted that other guys save (who completed more missions that I can no longer play) and I cannot even undo it then that is huge flaw in my opinion. hoofhearted4
Idk I've played ahead and it always gave me an option to skip those missions when I got to them which I never did skip them lol
