TUTORIAL: REMOVING UNWANTED MAGIC EFFECTS FROM THE PLAYER

Anyone know what effect this is?

It looks kinda like the Daedra FX, but I'm not sure.

 

HMDaedraFX: xx023f82 (xx = Dragonborn's load order, usually 04)

To remove "Dragonnbsp;PriestEffect" (Purple smoke and glow eyes on feet)

1. Download my edited script.

2. Put "DragonPriestActorScript.pex" into "/Skyrim/Data/Scripts" overwrite the file if you need

3. Launch Skyrim and load your save file.

4. Press "`" Key to open the console.

5. Type "player.addspell 9BCCA" and press the enter / return key.

6. Press "`" key to close the console and press again to open it up.

7. Type "player.removespell 9BCCA" and press the enter / return key.

8. Close the console

9. Done!

About the script, I just add some lines which remove effects when the script end. so It will notaffectto the game. But If you want keep the script as clean, backup the original and revert it again.

Hello! It seems like ASH GUARDIAN EFFECT, but command "player.addspell 04027bfb - player.removespell 04027bfb" doesn't help. Maybe it's some kind of steam effect? Anyone can help?

Awesome, thank you, however... today when I started skyrim and loaded my savegame.... the smoke was gone. Didn't change anything at all, it was just gone. Weird.

I have this issue with my character.

It's barely visible and only when it's dark but it disturbes me nevertheless...
Please note that i don't have the Dragonborn DLC.

Then Dragonborn is NOT 04 in your load order...

 

I've tried other combinations ( 00 - 03 even 05-09 ).. all with the same result - "not found for parameter spell item"

04 - ability added and removed, but visual effect doesn't disappear.

Since a quest in dawngard i have a big magic aura like snow or magic wind.

I don't remember if it was the quest when you save the phalene priest from vampires or the quest of the master of vampire's hunters.

It's horrible when i play and i really want to play with this character (i've just bought dragonborn DLC).

I am having this affect as well. I can't seem to find a solution in the thread...

 

I only play Vanilla Skyrim with some mods. A blizzard came through, but this windy effect stayed. I was currently doing the College of Winterhold main quest.

Need your help guys. My character just faded partially, only facial hair and eyes are visible after battling some drauger deathlords while having active lightning cloak and spell absorbtion. Whenever I activate any spells that alters the shader effect on my character would reappear then fade back after the effects are gone. (Any sort of cloak spell; I have wet and cold mod installed as well, going out into the snow/swimming, etc...)

 

Been searching for hours for a solution, I've tried ethereal shout, setting alpha, dispelallspells, changing into werewolf/vampire lord form but with no avail.

I am having exactly the same issue. And surfing for solutions, there seem to be more people affected but so far , nobody came up with a solution that worked (or at least I have not found it on the web so far). Do you guys know what may cause this and how to get rid of it? Thanks a lot in advance, it is driving me nuts!
