So you know...

Oh well.... I'm getting that info from being an IT hard- and software engineer since 25 years and having created automated setups for Windows 10 for about a 1000 PCs since 2015 now...

but yeah, what do I know. More important - why do I even care.

Case closed - bye.

the only way to get you to fix the things you need is to offer a look

you-need-this.jpg

And windows has not touched my graphics driver AKA GPU files at all.

So, it's not a big deal.

Alright, I looked around for anything on the forum that matched the issue I'm having, but didn't see anything similar.

I played F4 less than a week ago, and it worked just fine (mods and all).

I went to start a new character yesterday, but I couldn't. I'm using vortex and my mod plugins weren't deploying. After I got that fixed I ran F4 like I always do (clicked my F4SE shortcut)

No dice. Screen goes black like it always does, then cuts back to my homescreen. I tried it a few more times, but same result. Updated my windows version, my drivers, reinstalled a clean version of F4SE after deleting all the old .dll files. Nothing.

So I tried without any mods. Not a single one. Even disabled my ENB. I still can't get it to work, no matter what I do.

Is this something anyone has heard of before, or is It something I'm doing wrong?

I appreciate any help.

this is what you do, you go into the steam folder where the game is @, run the game launcher directly and allow it to do what ever it wants to do, DO NOT run the game with F4SE, run the game default and allow it to update correctly without all the outher things interfering with it.

NOTE: F4SE is being disabled By steam. It's a known issue.

I'll just clarify as after reading all the responses I realized I forgot to be more specific. I updated my GPU, disabled my antivirus, updated windows, reinstalled fresh copies of my drivers, game is set to run in administrator mode. Here's the relevant information from the DxDiag log

It's not a problem.

The OS is still lagging behind a bit but that's not an issue either.

I was getting bored so I made a little thingy here.

If you can't make out the info ,I'll just post a spoiler with the text in it.

DID you run the game as I suggested yet?

LIFEBOOK E756

From what I am finding, that machine (a laptop....) only has intel integrated graphics..... That isn't going to run games worth beans.

where do you want to stream any game of your choosing, How about f76? runs fine, Or rainbow six.

you choose. It runs what ever I program it to run.

Pick a steaming service ===Or---

Ummmm. No.

I am curious how/if you convince games to run on a laptop that doesn't even meet the minimum requirements for the game..... Or does the machine actually have multiple video solutions? (I didn't see that in the specs, but, that doesn't mean it isn't there.)
