Dark Elves are not up there because Morrowind is their homeland.

 

Mournhold isn't anyone's homeland.

 

Solstheim is not the Nord homeland.

As everyone says, the story is set up too well to be anywhere else but Cyrodill. I mean, yeah sure Skyrim would be cool (especially since I am a Nord), but Solstheim was close enough to being a Nord homeland. So, I am gonna have to vote for Cyrodill.

As much as i want to go see cyrodil, i think they should save it for ES IV maybe. i mean with everything you hear theres a lot for a story right there

deffinitely wouldn't complain if it was an expansion, but think about it, it's the capital of the empire, sounds too big to be an exapnsion. especially since it's on the main continent, the place is gonna be huge *hopes that's how it turns out*

Definately Cryodiil. ES IV should not be set in any other province except for Cryodiil.

Bethesda has made the story rigid thus far- the next expansion has to be in Cyrodil. Consider all the comments about Uriel Septim dying, and all his successors being dopplegangers placed there by Jagar Tharn. If you've played through Thormoor Grey-Wave's quest, Geleir the Mumbling even gives a prophecy about the fall of the empire.

I think they should work on ES IV instead of adding another expansion to Morrowind. Like cmac said, it could focus on Uriel Septim dying and the chaos running throughout Tamerial that results because of his death. Maybe they could include something with Summerset Isle because, as some books in Morrowind say, much of the Imperial culture comes from the High Elves.

 

Whatever happens, ES IV needs to be set in Cyrodill. That would be one heck of a good game.
