mrpyromania
At the Ghostgate, there is an old Imperial soldier named Wulf. He gives you a lucky gold septime, and the next time you come he's not there. I asked the person behind the counter, and he said there wasen't anyone by the name of Wulf ever there. Whas he some kind of ghost? What do you think? cactoblasta
Ask at the Ebonheart Imperial Chapel. They'll tell you who he is.
saldrex
Wulf is triggered after you do the quests for the imperial cult. You should now talk to the head cult member (i dont know who exactly in the cult but it is someone pretty high probably the leader of it if anyone). Switch
No he isn't... in my experience Wulf is always there just before you complete the main quest to give you that coin to help you on your way. It gives you the "Voice of the Emperor" power. I thought that was all he was for.
mrpyromania
Voice of the Emperor? The coin he gave me gave me Luck of the Emperor. It fortifes my luck. And I think it was triggered by the main quest, beacuse I was ready to go take on Dagoth Ur.
cactoblasta
Voice of the Emperor is one of the starting powers of the Imperials. I looked it up in the TESCS and Wulf appears at Ghostgate when Wraithguard is obtained.
saldrex
You don't have to be a member of the imperial cult thoughfor him to even appear but he has to do with the cult. If you are a member you can talk to oracle about it. You will get an explanation about the incident and recieve 2 reputation points. Also it will become one of the various rumors in the world and can be repeated by the option "latest rumors". I also believe that it is "LUCK of the emperor" not "VOICE of the emperor" that he gives you. He is a manifest of the god Tiber Septim and has blessed your journey to red mountain. Switch
Ahh yes you're right. It is Luck of the Emperor, not voice. Got them mixed up ;)
Xeniorn
So that's where the lucky coin came from. I was just returning to my house in balmora and started dropping stuff. I noticed that coin and wondered where I got it from. And then I noticed tha luck of the emperor ability. It was really confusing, since I forgot about Wulf. :stupid:
Guest
Wulf is a manifestation of the God/Emperor Tiber Septum, that explains the imperial cult parts. The one place he was never able to conquer on the isle of Morrowind was Red Mountain, which he makes reference to when you talk to him at Ghostgate. He basically got too old to continue his conquest and stopped when he reached Ghostgate. Because he never finished his conquest, he gives you his lucky coin and asks you to complete his quest for him. When you leave Ghostgate and defeat Dagoth-Ur, he vanishes, essentialy you've put his spirit to rest. The coin increases your luck stats with the constant effect spell "Luck of the Emperor". If you go to the imperial chapel at Ebonheart and talk to the Alter Priestess she'll confirm that it was the spirit of Tiber Septum and declare that you are blessed by the Imperial gods.
